We haven’t seen much snow this year in Tennessee but when it does snow it’s absolutely beautiful. Catherine and Eric got married in January and were hoping for snow. 5 days before the wedding I was talking with Catherine and it was 70 degrees out. We both hoped for snow but didn’t think it was going to happen. Friday came and we got our only snow storm of the season. They were able to have their snowy winter wedding in Tennessee after all. Catherine and Eric are so sweet and were a pleasure to work with.
I am from Illinois and am no stranger to harsh winters and plenty of snow. It’s not often you find brides who are excited about a snowy wedding and are really for taking pictures in the snow. I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to photograph on this beautiful snowy day. The snow did add a slight bump in the road for this couple. Catherine was getting her rings fused together and was suppose to pick them up Friday. If you live in Tennessee you know that everything closes on snow days. Catherine couldn’t pick up her ring. She hoped that they would have it in time for the wedding ceremony. Luckily, their groomsmen left while the girls were getting their pictures taken to go pick up their rings. Their bridal party were troopers. The girls walked through the snow in open toed shoes to get beautiful pictures. Catherine had on these awesome furry boots, They were perfect for the occasion
Catherine and Eric had a lovely intimate ceremony at Christian Life Church in Murfreesboro. Their family and friends enjoyed an afternoon ceremony and a nice lunch at the Church. It was a beautiful winter wedding in Tennessee and I’m so glad I was able to be a part of it.
