FAQScommon questions answered
When and how will I get my images?
You’ll get an online gallery to view all your edited images. I know you’re excited to see your images and I are equally as excited to share them with you. Sneak peaks are something I love to share with you until your whole gallery is delivered. For weddings I provide a sneak peak within one week and your full gallery is delivered to you within six weeks. For portraits, a sneak peak is up within two days and your full gallery is delivered within two weeks. You can digitally download your images directly from your gallery. Weddings will get a USB of their images.
What should I bring/wear/do before my session?
I send out a guide to each of my clients with all this information because I believe all you should worry about is showing up and feeling picture ready!
Where will my session take place?
I send out a questionnaire after you book to get to know you better. If you have a special place in mind, I can do my best to accommodate that, otherwise I use your responses to find the perfect location to fit your needs.
How do I book?
Once we’ve talked either by email, phone or in person and you’ve decided on what package works best I can send you your invoice and contract via email. You can do everything online or in person, whichever you prefer.
What if my dog doesn’t know any commands like sit?
Your dog doesn’t need to sit in order to get some great images of them!
What if my dog can't be off leash?
That’s perfectly fine, in fact many locations don’t allow for dogs to be off leash so we do pictures on leash and edit them out.
What if my dog is reactive to other dogs?
We can pick a location and time where there will be less or no dogs or we can take pictures at your home or my fenced-in backyard.
Do you do pictures of animals besides cats and dogs?
YES! I love doing pictures of all pets. I’ve photographed horses, bunnies, hedgehogs, goats, donkeys, and birds. If I haven’t photographed it yet it doesn’t mean I wouldn’t, and it doesn’t have to be furry for me to photograph!
Can you get all my pets in one image?
YES I love a challenge and have successfully gotten eight dogs in one photo with no editing required. If we are finding it exceedingly difficult to get all pets to cooperate at the same time we can set up the shot so that they can all be put together in post processing.
Do I have to be in the photos with my pet?
No, if you don’t want to be in pictures you don’t have to. I always suggest at least making sure your feet/hands look photo ready. Because you never know when we might capture an image that’s too cute not to add.
I’ve got you! 🙂
