Elopement at Riverwood Mansion: Britt and Stephen

I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful elopement at Riverwood Mansion recently. Britt and Stephen decided to elope with just their closest friends and family from all over the country. They had a beautiful intimate ceremony inside the mansion. They said I do in front of the beautiful ornate fireplace.

Sue from Elope In Nashville was their officiant. She also did the cake and flowers for their elopement. She does all the elopements for Riverwood mansion. Britt’s friend Jennifer from True Grace Makeup did her hair and makeup. Britt wore a beautiful dress from David’s Bridal. The length was perfect for an elopement and it was so fun to twirl.

After their ceremony, Britt and Stephen did a cake cutting in the next room. They toasted to their guests. They then joined me outside for some bridal portraits. Spring is just starting to show. The vines around the archway were filling in making a beautiful frame. The sun was shining and it was the perfect temperature outside. The front porch of Riverwood mansion is stunning. We had to take several pictures there. Inside we went upstairs for a few more pictures. There is a very old couch that has been sat on by several past presidents. Stephen loved the history behind that couch so we made sure to get pictures with it.

After pictures, the couple joined their guest for some cake. They enjoyed their afternoon mingling before leaving the mansion. Thi beautiful elopement at Riverwood Mansion was so fun to capture. I was happy to be a part of their beautiful day.
