2021 doing rescue photography in Minnesota
It’s now been 3 years that I’ve been volunteering with Warrior dog rescue. I’ve loved watching this rescue grow. This year I had to step back for family reason so I didn’t get to photograph as many rescue dogs as previous years.
Warrior dog rescue now has a full time facility call the dog house that can house puppy litters and a few adult dogs who are in between fosters. It’s been nice to go and photograph the puppies all in one place.
If you’re looking to volunteer this is a perfect opportunity for those who might not be set up to foster but still want dog and puppy snuggles. The dog house is located in savage and they are always looking for volunteers to come help out.
I photographed 97 rescue dogs and 3 rescue cats in 2021. I’m looking forward to 2022 and being able to photograph more adoptable pups and the occasional kitten!
I also still give my time to any local rescue in need that reaches out wanting an updated photo for a foster pup or puppy litter. Cats too 🙂 Let’s face it I love doing rescue photography!
