Kate and Patrick’s beautiful backyard wedding

Want to have a wedding and involve your dogs? Kate and Patrick’s backyard wedding was simply pawfect for including their pups.

An intimate, fun and beautiful wedding. That is exactly what Kate and Patrick had. I had the pleasure of meeting these two and their doodles several months before their wedding. We did an engagement session in downtown Nashville and they brought their precious fur babies. Those to dogs were so chill in all the photos.

Kate and Patrick were able to get ready in the same house and not see each other before the ceremony. Whenever we took pictures of one we banished the other to an enclosed room, it all worked out. Their backyard was set up perfectly for their ceremony and reception. There were succulents everywhere, including Kate’s bouquet. I absolutely adore succulents in weddings. Their dogs of honor hung out inside and outside throughout the day. During the Ceremony they even walked down the aisle with family and watched the whole service. They even hung out and watched the first dance with everyone.

The wedding cake was made but a friend and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Kate and Patrick have a cat as well who wasn’t to keen on being a part of the wedding festivities but they still were able to include her on their cat. The little dog and cat figures were too perfect!

It was a gorgeous spring day and they couldn’t have asked for nicer weather, every weekend prior had been rainy so this day was perfect. I am so glad I got to be part of their wonderful day. I loved photographing this sweet couple and their dogs.
